Camp Naz, a day camp for ages 5-12 was held July 6-10 at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene. The theme for this year's camp was "Science Alive" where the thirty-two campers explored science themes such as air pressure, genetics, habitats, and space. Each day was a different science theme. For example on genetics day, the campers made family albums, compared genetic traits, and extracted DNA from a banana. Besides the science activities, the campers preformed skits, human videos, and played water games. The day camp is a fundraising activity for the teens at the church. The director of the camp was Melissa Harder.

Other upcoming events at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene include Youth Nites: July 21-24 from 6- 8 pm for grades 5-8 and VBS: August 3-7 from 6-8 pm for ages 4-10. Also in the Fall, Caravans, our scouting program, will be starting once again. Please call for more information 419-399-3932.
