WELL YOU SHOULD PROBABLY START YOUR SEARCH AT THE HONDA STORES, SINCE THEY MAKE MORE CARS IN THE US THAN ANYONE ELSE, AFTER THAT, HEAD OVER TO THE HYUNDAI STORE AND LOOK AT THE SONOTA AND SANTA FE WHICH ARE MAKE IN ALABAMA. THE BIG 3 USE THIS TACTIC TO TRY TO CONFUSE THE CONSUMER. DONT BE CONFUSED, BUY THE LEAST EXPENSIVE CAR THAT WILL LAST THE LONGEST WITH THE LONGEST WARRANTY, THIS IS WHY GM AND CHRYSLER ARE GOING BROKE, THEY CAN'T COMPETE.

OK People, think about this. The reason why the big 3 moved jobs out of the US is because they have been raped by the UAW and the US Government. They have made it so difficult to do business in this country they moved out to other countries that welcome them and try to keep them with incentives and conditions that are profitable for them. Contrary, the foreign car makers come here, dangling new jobs and construction projects in our face, so we bend over backwards to get them to build here. Isn't this a little hypocritical. Shouldn't the UAW and US Government be working with the big 3 instead of against them? Its not the big 3's fault. Its our fault for letting them get driven right out of OUR own country. They are business that are in business to make a profit. When they can't make a profit or have to give it all of there profits away, they move.

i would like to comment on this topic and make it simple. We as Americans should buy American made vehicles, you have to look at the VIN number and it has to start with a 1,4,5, is made in the U.S.A. 3=Mexico 6=Australia 9=Brazil J=Japan K=Korea l=Tawain S=Great Britain W=Germany and Z=Italy so please everyone espcially Americans wanting to keep jobs in America should pay attention to that when buying a car.

New jobs are being created here in America by the foreign auto makers. Jobs for Americans. (Tax paying Americans, who helped pay the billions of bailout dollars to GM.)

GM and other "American" auto makers are looking to further outsource work overseas. Thus taking away jobs from Americans.

Why shouldn't I buy a "foreign" car made by a hard working American? That person has just as much right to earn a decent wage and to be able to provide for their family as does a UAW member. I understand that there is a "bigger picture," but when it comes right down to it, each American has to take care of their own family. And if buying a "foreign" car works better into my budget or a "foreign" auto maker offers me a job that will provide for my family then so be it.
