I think most Americans are willing to pay for universal health care. Our current system lets 30,000+ people die a year just due to poor health coverage. It is wrong, and it is our obligation to take care of eachother. The past 8 years has allowed the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer and we cannot allow this to continue happening. We do need to have our government looking out for the people's best interest because the rich will not. You do realize that we are the only democratic Western nation without univeral health care? Its really very sad.

There are a number of countries that are socialist that are not Communist.

Socialism does not equal Soviet style Communism. Never has.

535 esteemed members of Congress who all do things because President Obama wants them too. Poor deluded congressmen who do not have the will to think for themselves and make their own decisions.

Please..........

Many think you can go socialist and not go the next step, going all the way to communism. By the time you give socialists that much power, whether or not they become communist dictators won't be up to you. Congress has already passed a massive bill they didn't read because Comrade Obama wanted them to. I'm with Mr. Blosser--wake up people!

Obama is doing for the economy what was done to bring us out of the great depression. With his team of some of the best economists in the country and of a Nobel Prize winner I would trust their judgement to lead us out of this recession over that of those who simply complain without having any idea or contributions of how to really resolve this issue.

I'm with Mr. Blosser. I would like to keep what I've earned for my family and future.

And that would be bad why?

Socialism is not evil. The U.S. has always had socialist tendencies.

Government is not evil. Good government benefits all of us.

The current changes being made in Washington are good steps in the right direction.
