Thursday, 7:52 a.m., on Ohio 15 in Williams County's Jefferson Township, a car driven by Stephanie Dobbelaere, 19, West Unity, struck a truck driven by Lisa Dobbelaere, 49, West Unity, which struck a truck driven by David Cain, 65, 00557 Ohio 15, Bryan. Stephanie Dobbelaere was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was heavy to Stephanie Dobbelaere's vehicle, moderate to Lisa Dobbelaere's and light to Cain's.

Wednesday, 9:25 a.m., on Westgate Drive, north of Ronmar Drive, a car driven by Courtney Bowling, 16, 1144 Main St., Evansport, struck a parked car owned by Johnny Jimenez, 1688 Dakota Place. Bowling was cited for improper starting. Damage to both vehicles was moderate.
Thursday, 3:16 p.m., at 1038 Madison Ave., a truck driven by Jamie Poston, 34, 21708 Switzer Road, struck a car driven by Jessica Adkins, 17, 22309 Ohio 613, Oakwood. Poston was cited for improper starting. Damage to both vehicles was light.
Thursday, 4:42 p.m. on South Clinton Street, north of Bouton Street, a car driven by Allisa Ashbaugh, 17, 1562 Westgate Drive, struck a sport utility vehicle driven by Jamie Hillman, 28, 233 Greer St. Ashbaugh was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was light to Hillman's vehicle and heavy to Ashbaugh's.
Thursday, Jose Hernandez, 63, 844 N. Clinton St., was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.
Thursday, Joseph Black, 37, Sherwood, was cited for driving under suspension and providing false information following a traffic stop. He was also served a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court on a charge of failure to appear. He was taken to CCNO.
Thursday, Monique Wainwright, 40, Defiance, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and obstruction of official business after an alleged incident at the Circle K store on North Clinton Street. She was later arrested on a charge of public intoxication and was transported to CCNO.

Thursday, Toby Beck, 20, Napoleon, was served a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

Wednesday, 10:15 p.m., on County Road 2, south of County Road H, a car driven by Kelsey Marvin, 18, Edon, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.
Wednesday, numerous paintballs were reportedly shot at the Lockport Mennonite Church, 09269 County Road 21-N, Stryker. The damage was valued at $200.

Fire -- Thursday, 6 p.m. at 1715 Durango Drive, firefighters were called to investigate a smoking air conditioner.
Fire -- Today, 4:37 a.m., at 395 Harding St., firefighters were called in response to a fire alarm at Twin Rivers Nursing Facility. A baseboard heater shorted out, causing heat and sparks to emit from the unit.
