NAPOLEON -- Two physical therapists with Napoleon Clinic Pro Rehab, Rachel Kruse, PT, CMP; and Christy Smith, PT, CWCE, CMP; have earned certification in a manual therapy technique called the Mulligan Concept. Smith also sees patients at Defiance Clinic Pro Rehab.

Mulligan Concept techniques can be used along with other physical therapy methods to treat patients with a variety of problems, including pain, headaches and dizziness.

These manual therapy techniques focus on gentle mobilizations that are applied by the physical therapist while the patient actively moves the affected body part. The therapists reported good success with the Mulligan Concept techniques.
