Defiance Regional Medical Center (DRMC) and the Northcoast Fatherhood Initiative are working together to help new fathers get off to a good start.
DRMC is offering the program, Boot Camp for Dads, beginning Monday, June 22. The class offers new fathers the chance to exchange views and discuss problems concerning fatherhood.
Fathers who are present at the birth of their child at DRMC will receive a New Daddy Pack, which includes educational information about being a new father. Since April, more than 100 packets have been given away.
