Lueen Reigsecker ARCHBOLD -- Lueen Mae Riegsecker was born to Charles and Sophie (Rupp) Grieser on March 20, 1931, in Fulton County, and was welcomed into her eternal home by her heavenly father and her husband, Eddie, on June 27, 2009. She has two surviving sisters, Virginia (Kenneth) Lee and Berneda (Dean) Wyse; and brothers, Paul (Evelyn), Willard "Bill" (Marilyn) and Glen (Karen) Grieser; and sister-in-law, Betty Grieser. Herb Grieser preceded her in death on January 1, 2008. Lueen grew up on a farm outside Archbold and helped her family on the farm, including taking care of her Grandma Rupp, who resided with them. She also worked in the Dairy Store and the Red Cross Drug Store. On December 6, 1953, she married Edward Dale Riegsecker, who preceded her in death on June 13, 1998. Their marriage of 45 years was blessed with four children, Sandra (Terry) Aeschliman, Rita (Russ) Rupp, Beverly (Larry) Bonilla, and Alan (Tammy) Riegsecker; and 13 grandchildren. Lueen moved to assisted living in January 2008, and then to Fairlawn Haven in June 2008. As she could no longer participate in the activities there, she always enjoyed visits and music. She will be sadly missed and remembered by all those who knew her caring spirit. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Central Mennonite Church with Pastor Wanda Stopher officiating. Interment will precede services in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family suggests memorials be given to Central Mennonite Church or the donor's choice. Comments
