The class of 62 celebrated its 45th year reunion on 8-11-07 in Ottoville. A tour of the new school was provided in the afternoon followed with attendance as a group at the 4 p.m. mass at IC. Fr. John Stites recognized the class during mass. Following church the gang gathered at the Dew Drop Inn which is owned and operated by fellow classmate Bob Hoersten. Phyllis V. brought along pictures from plays, etc., memorabilia and school newspapers from the senior year. The committee consisted of Eileen Hilvers Weis of Leipsic, Ann Wenzlick Garr from Ft. Wayne, Bob Hoersten of Ottoville, and Phyllis Schimmoeller Verhoff of Holgate. Approx 35 showed for this reunion of a small class of 20 boys and 9 girls. Dave VonKaenel came from California and Gary Odenweller from Chicago. We had a good time and agreed to gather again in 5 years.
