TOLEDO (AP) -- A 14-year-old high school student who police say was struck by a school bus while in a crosswalk near his school was treated and released from a hospital. Toledo Public Schools spokesman Patty Mazur said the Woodward High School student was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center on Thursday morning. A hospital spokesman said the student did not require hospitalization. Toledo police said the driver was cited for an alleged traffic violation. Mazur said the accident happened shortly after 8 a.m. near the school. She said the school district will get a copy of the police report and conduct its own investigation. Comments
