Laura Kruse
NAPOLEON _ Laura A. Kruse, 93, Napoleon, Ohio, died Friday morning, October 30, 2009, at the Golden Living Center Northcrest Nursing Home.
She was born September 10, 1916, in Malinta, Ohio, the daughter of Perry and Ruth (Gunter) Austermiller. On March 16, 1947, she married Fred Kruse and he preceded her in death on June 24, 1980. Laura was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center, Ohio. She loved working in her garden at home.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan (David) Bailey, Defiance, Ohio, and Jane (Ron) Buenger, Napoleon, Ohio; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death also by one grandson, Daniel F. Buenger; and one sister, Hazel Gerken.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center, Ohio, Rev. Keith F. Witte, officiating. Interment will be made in Riverview Memory Gardens, rural Defiance County, Ohio. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, today from 2 to 8 p.m. .
