Eloise Stevens NAPOLEON -- Eloise Stevens, 93, Napoleon, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009, at Henry County Hospital, Napoleon. She was born December 19, 1915, in Liberty Township, Henry County, to the late Clarence and Della (Redfield) Seymour. Eloise married Byron "Barney" Stevens in 1934, and he preceded her in death in 1996. One daughter, Loretta Mann; four sons, Lawrence, Ralph, Ned and Ronald Stevens; a sister, Bernice Compton; and a brother, Riffe Seymour, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Stevens was employed with Harris Products when it was established in 1933. She later worked at Lippincott-Standard Brands and Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon, Rossford Ordinance, Wauseon Manufacturing, and retired from Napco Plastics in Napoleon. She also assisted her husband in the care and grooming of his race horses. Eloise was a member of the Henry County Senior Center and Shiloh Christian Union Church, Delta. Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Barbara (Randy) Grover, Rossford; grandchildren, Julie Felty and Cyndie (Roy) Tilley, Napoleon, Deb (Jeff) Joseph, Ridgeville Corners, Peggy Bertz and Tina Bost, Napoleon, Candie (Dave) Misko, Rossford and David (Amy) Mann, Delta; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2009, in the Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Liberty Center, and conclude with funeral services at 3:30 p.m. Pastor Chuck Whitmire will preside and burial will follow at Hoy Cemetery, Napoleon.
