Wednesday's small business conference at Northwest State Community College drew more than 70 people. Speakers included Jerry Arkebauer of the Regional Port Authority of Northwest Ohio, Paula Dockery of the Internal Revenue Service and Abbey Mortemore of the Ohio Attorney General Office. Organizing the event were, Bev Hohenberger (left) of the Ohio Department of Development; Merry Beavers (center) of the Small Business Development Commission; and Brenda Griffith of the Ohio Secretary of State's Office. Those who desire to provide feedback regarding Wednesday's event, or who wish to participate in similar events in the future, to call the Small Business Development Center at 419-782-6270.
