Monday, 7:45 p.m., on Ohio 66 in Defiance County’s Noble Township, a truck driven by Charles Wiles, 73, 19700 Paulding County Road 1040, Oakwood, struck a deer. Damage to both vehicles was light.

Saturday, 3:24 p.m., on Power Dam Road, west of Harding Road, a car driven by Lori Plummer, 45, 1666 Fairlawn St., struck a guardrail. Damage to the vehicle was light.
Saturday, 8:25 p.m., on Standley Road, west of Dohoney Road, a sport utility vehicle driven by Barbara Leu, 36, 1101 Washington Ave., struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.
Monday, 5:59 p.m., on Ohio 18 in Defiance County’s Mark Township, a car driven by Angela Mojica, 28, 320 E Elm St., Sherwood and a tractor driven by Todd Bontreger, 29, Fort Wayne, collided. Mojica was cited for driving left of center. Mojica was transported by Sherwood Fire and Rescue to Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, where her condition was unavailable. Damage to both vehicles was heavy.
Friday, a 16-year-old Defiance male was charged with delinquency by means of assault after an alleged incident on Domersville Road.
Friday, two 16-year-old Defiance males and a 17-year-old Defiance female were charged with delinquency by means of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief after an alleged incident on Kepler Road.
Saturday, Darin Conley, 23, Hicksville, was charged with disorderly conduct and assault after an alleged incident on Casebeer-Miller Road.
Monday, Jonathan Balser, 25, Defiance, was served a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court.
Monday, Taber Hawkins, 20, Hicksville, was arrested on a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court.

Fire — Monday, 8:34 a.m., firefighters were called to investigate a smoke complaint at Defiance College’s Schauffler Hall, 701 N. Clinton St. A heating unit in a hallway malfunctioned.

Defiance Common Pleas
Alex Johnson, 49, 402 Harrison Ave., pleaded guilty to compelling prostitution, a third-degree felony; gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony; and failure to provide notice of change of address, a fourth-degree felony. He was given prison terms totaling 54 months and was classified as a tier 3 sexual offender, according to Prosecutor Morris Murray’s office. Johnson requested that a female juvenile engage in sexual activity for money and compelled her to submit to sexual contact by force, or threat of force. He also failed to notify the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office of his change of address as a requirement of his sexual offender status, having previously been convicted of corruption of a minor and corrupting another with drugs.
Jujuan Moore, 25, 195 Rosewood Ave., appeared for sentencing on a charge of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. He was given an 11-month prison term to be served consecutively with a two-year term imposed in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. Moore was also sentenced for trafficking in crack cocaine, a third-degree felony; and two counts of trafficking in cocaine, each a fourth-degree felony. He was placed on community for five years, fined $5,000 and ordered to make $570 restitution for those charges.
