James Mobley HICKSVILLE -- James A. Mobley, 62, Hicksville, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Community Healthcare Center, Defiance, Ohio. He was born November 28, 1946, in Paulding County, Ohio, the son of Earl R. and Gladys M. (Copsey) Mobley. He was employed by GM Powertrain, Defiance, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Hicksville Eagles Lodge, and UAW Local 211. He is survived by his mother, Gladys Mobley Utterback, Payne; two sons, John Mobley, Paulding, and Jason Mobley, Antwerp; two daughters, Joan (Kevin) Egly, Butler, Ind., and Jennifer Thompson, Defiance; three brothers, Jerry (Jean), Jeff, and John Mobley, all of Payne; a sister, Janet (Larry) McMillen, Paulding; half brother, George "Louie" (Kim) Utterback, Broughton; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl D. Mobley; stepfather, George H. Utterback; and a son, James E. Mobley. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with burial following in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 6, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
