Mr. and Mrs. David Hammons of Defiance recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
David Hammons and Julie Smith were married June 16, 1979, in Faith Tabernacle Church by the groom's father, Rev. Burnell H. Hammons.
The couple have two children: Mrs. Brett (Shawna) Heller, Defiance; and Jana, Ft. Wright, Ky. They have a granddaughter.
The Hammons celebrated the special occasion with a trip to Alaska.
