ARCHBOLD -- Ora W. Richer, 83, Archbold, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009, following a heart attack.
He was born on May 5, 1926, near Pettisville, Ohio, the son of David and Ida Sauder Richer.
He is survived by four children, Mike (Connie) Richer of West Unity, Brooks (Susan) Richer of Archbold, Marcia (Eric) Lehman of Archbold and Ken (Leisa) Richer of Bryan; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beulah Zimmerman, of Archbold.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, of 59 years who passed away on February 28, 2009; a son, Timothy; his parents; and brothers, Lester, Lawrence, and Orland.
Visitation will be at West Clinton Mennonite Church near Pettisville on Friday, July 3, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at West Clinton Mennonite Church on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 11 a.m.
The family suggests memorial donations be given to Mennonite Central Committee.
