Margaret Wagner
DESHLER — Margaret Mary Wagner, 91, Deshler, Ohio, died Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2009, at Oak Grove Healthcare Center, Deshler.
She was born March 11, 1918, in Putnam County, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Amelia (Veroff) Schroeder. On November 21, 1940, she marred Eugene Halker and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1957. She then married Julius Wagner on September 30, 1967, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2005.
Margaret worked at Westinghouse Electric, Lima, Ohio and Allied Eggry, Leipsic, Ohio. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler, and formerly of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic. She was also a member of the Deshler Garden Club and Deshler Card Club.
Margaret is survived by her nieces and nephews, Judy Schroeder, Marilyn (Dave) Gidick, James (Joann) Schroeder, Barbara (John) Wagner, Michael (Lori) Schroeder, Beth Ann (Kevin) Fitzpatrick, William (Nancy) Recker, Jeanette (Jim) Kimmet, Charles (Jean) Recker, Sister Joan Marie Recker, SND, Thomas (Lisa) Recker, Mark (Laurie) Recker, Susan (Larry) Palte, Mary Jo (Dale) Hermiller, Kenneth (Norma) Wagner, Judy Wagner, Donald (Jan) Wagner, Joseph (Carol) Wagner, Thomas Wagner, Mary Lou Maas, Janet (Gene) Westhoven, Colleen Crushore, Phyllis (Gary) Bechstein, Darlene (Tom) Leatherman, Mary (Jim) Battershell, Melvin (Eileen) Wagner,  Debbie Kleman, Dennis (Diane) Wagner, David (Sue) Wagner and Cathy (Steve) Porter.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Schroeder and Agnes Recker; brother, Karl Schroeder; and nephew, Richard Wagner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler, with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
