Ronnie Rayle

CONTINENTAL -- Ronnie L. Rayle, 58, Continental, died at 11:33 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009, at St. Rita's Ambulatory Care Center, Ottawa.

He was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Dupont, the son of the late William D. and Ruth (Deitrick) Rayle. On July 26, 1969, he married Dianna K. Curtis, who survives in Continental. He was a heavy truck operator for Stoneco, Oakwood, Ohio. He was a member of Dupont Church of the Brethren and a former member of Continental American Legion. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18.

Other survivors are two sons, Ronnie (Tammie) Rayle II and Curtis (Ashley) Rayle of Continental; a daughter, Julie (Norman) Geckle, Continental; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, William (Ann) Rayle and Robert (Elaine) Rayle of Continental; and three sisters, Bonnie (Robert) Quigley and Joanne (Fred) Scott of Continental, and Connie Hubert, Bryan.

Also preceding him in death were a brother, Richard Rayle; and a grandson, Dustin Michael Geckle.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental.
