Friday, 7:45 p.m., on Williams County Road 15, east of County Road 21, a truck driven by Theodore Bostelman, 43, 17336 County Road T, Napoleon, struck a culvert. Bostelman was cited for failure to control. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Friday, 11:10 p.m., at U.S. 6 and Ohio 576, a car driven by Kayla Bostater, 17, 1127 Markey Drive, Bryan, struck a car driven by Michael Cunningham, 34, Parkersburg, W.Va. Bostater was cited for assured clear distance. Damage to both vehicles was moderate.

Saturday, 2:46 p.m., on Ohio 576 in Williams County's Bridgewater Township, an all-terrain vehicle driven by Zachary Snyder, 18, Perrysburg, struck a ditch. Snyder was transported by life squad to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where his condition was unavailable. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Saturday, 6:50 p.m., on Buckskin Road, east of U.S. 127, a car driven by Peggy Wolf, 53, 308 S. Harrison St., Sherwood, struck a ditch. Wolf was cited for failure to control. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Saturday, 11 p.m., on Ohio 34 in Williams County's Florence Township, a van driven by Mary Fry, 75, Edon, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Sunday, 8:15 a.m., on U.S. 20 in Williams County's Millcreek Township, a motorcycle driven by Timothy Redzinski, 49, Niles, Mich., struck a railroad gate. Redzinski was transported by life squad to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where his condition was unavailable. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Sunday, 6:50 p.m., at Ohio 15 and Blanchard Road, cars driven by Dillon Sailer, 17, 616 Spencerville St., Hicksville, and Frances Startzman, 68, Montpelier, collided. Sailer and a passenger, Kaleb Carlisle, 16, 429 S. Cherry St., Bryan, where transported by Medic 110 to Defiance Regional Medical Center where their conditions were unavailable. Startzman and a passenger, Dylan Barraco, 16, Montpelier, were transported by Highland Township Fire Department to Defiance Regional Medical Center where their conditions were unavailable. Sailer was cited for failure to yield. Damage to both vehicles was heavy.

Today, 1:30 a.m., on Williams County Road A, west of County Road 22, a truck driven by Michael Feeney, 45, 06325 Ohio 15, Defiance, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Friday, Valarie Moden, 22, Archbold, was arrested on a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court.

Friday, Augustine Barajas, 20, Defiance, was arrested on a bench warrant from Defiance County Common Pleas Court and two warrants from Defiance Municipal Court.

Today, a 17-year-old Defiance female was served a warrant from Defiance Juvenile Court.

Sunday, Melissa Schwinnen, 17, Defiance, was picked up on a warrant from Defiance County Juvenile Court.

Sunday, Monique Wainwright, 40, Defiance, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and an open container. She was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Sunday, Nicholas Layne, 14, Defiance, turned himself in on a charge of theft.

Sunday, Shonda Estle, age unavailable, Defiance, was cited for OVI, speeding and driving on the wrong half of the roadway following a traffic stop on East River Drive.

Sunday, a guitar was reported stolen in a break-in at 1054 Holgate Ave.

Sunday, vandalism, including a broken fence and graffiti, was reported at Kids' Creation playground in Diehl Park.

Napoleon Police

Sunday, James Fields, 25, Napoleon, was charged with dogs at large after an alleged incident at 319 E. Barnes Ave.

Sunday, James Herriott, 45, Napoleon, was charged with assault after an alleged incident at 428 S. Perry St.

Friday, 4:17 p.m., at 07975 Ohio 15, a truck driven by Carey Andres, 47, 304 Edgerton St., Bryan, backed into an apartment building. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Saturday, 5:16 a.m., on Ohio 576, south of County Road E, a truck driven by Matthew Huffman, 35, 02747 County Road 8, Edgerton, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Defiance

Fire -- Saturday, 1:38 p.m., firefighters were called to 311 Clinton Street for a smoke investigation. No fire was found.

Fire -- Saturday, 6:26 p.m., firefighters were called to 190 Stadium Drive, following a report of an explosion at the former K-Mart building. Smoke was caused by a malfunction with the deluge system at the fuel station.

Sentenced: John Flores, 52, 1025 Karnes Ave., failure to control, costs only; marked lanes, found not guilty.

Mario Hernandez, 19, 1224 West St., Evansport, no safety belt, $30 fine; noise violation, $25 fine.

Jose Hernandez, 63, 844 N. Clinton St., criminal mischief, $500 fine suspended, one day jail; possession of drug paraphernalia, $250 fine, 30 days jail suspended, six-month license suspension; drug abuse, $150 fine, six-month license suspension; open container, $150 fine; disorderly conduct while intoxicated, $150 fine; disorderly conduct while intoxicated, $250 fine, 30 days jail suspended.

Fulton Common Pleas

Jeremy Spiess, 23, Fayette, was sentenced to 20 months in prison following his conviction on two counts of trafficking in cocaine, both fifth-degree felonies.

Todd Davis, 37, Wauseon, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. He was sentenced to six months in jail.

Spain won the European Championship 1-0 over Germany for its first major title in 44 years.
