Friday, 4:13 p.m., on Elliott Road, east of Clinton Street, a car driven by Keith March, 42, 17156 County Road E, Continental, struck a car driven by Phyllis Tibbs, 59, 704 Holly Glen Drive, Defiance. Damage to both vehicles was light.

Wednesday, Orlando Perez Sr., 47, Defiance, and Humberto Perez Sr., 57, Defiance, were charged with open containers in motor vehicles following a traffic stop.

Friday, Laura Webb, 50, Defiance, was served a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Friday, Tiffany Boyd, 20, Hamler, was charged with theft after an alleged incident at the Northtowne Mall.

Saturday, Cynthia Salaz, 34, Holgate, was served a warrant from Fulton County. She posted bond and was released.

Defiance

Fire -- Friday, 9:03 a.m., firefighters were called to 815 E. Second St. in response to a burning odor complaint. The odor was caused by a malfunctioning air handling unit.

Fire -- Friday, 7:54 p.m., at 19666 Powers Road, firefighters were called to extinguish a field fire. A sheriff's deputy put the fire out prior to firefighters' arrival.
