Defiance's newest hotel opened recently at 1037 Hotel Drive, west of Clinton Street. The Hampton Inn features 76 guest rooms, an indoor pool, conference room and business center. Hotel owner J.J. Patel has operated hotels in Defiance since 1993. From left are: hotel director Hitesh Patel, Jim Williams of the Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce, J.J.
