Wednesday, 9:45 a.m., on U.S. 20-A in Williams County's Jefferson Township, a truck driven by Logan Reese, 17, Montpelier, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., on U.S. 6 and Ohio 191 in Williams County's Springfield Township, a semi driven by Kenneth Hodges, 54, 15415 Defiance County Road 149, struck a car driven by Lorene Sword, 85, 21506 Williams County Road A, Stryker. Hodges was cited for failure to yield. Damage was light to Hodges' vehicle and moderate to Sword's vehicle.

Wednesday, Floyd Lucas, age unavailable, 1893 S. Jefferson Ave., was charged with open container following a traffic stop on Cleveland Avenue.

Wednesday, Jose Hernandez, 63, 844 N. Clinton St., was charged with criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, open container and disorderly conduct while intoxicated after an alleged incident in Defiance. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Wednesday, Sarah Gile, 21, was served a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court.

Wednesday, Julius Fonseca Jr., 44, Defiance, was charged with theft after an alleged incident at the Meijer store, North Clinton Street.

Wednesday, a John Deere lawn tractor was reported stolen from St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Ohio 108, Napoleon Township.

Today, Toby Beck, 20, Napoleon, was charged with offenses involving underage persons following an alleged incident at 121 Scott St.

Fulton Common Pleas

Amanda Miller, 20, Delta, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstructing justice, a fifth-degree felony. She was sentenced to 120 days in jail and placed on community control for two years. She was also ordered to make $1,249 in restitution.

Brent Winhoven, 23, Delta, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony. He was placed on community control for three years and classified as a tier II sex offender.

James Cayce, 36, address unavailable, was found guilty at trial of breaking and entering. He was sentenced to 10 days jail and placed on community control for two years.

Lacey Alvarez, 20, address unavailable, was placed on community control for two years after previously pleading guilty to a charge of permitting drug abuse.
