Saturday, 12:02 p.m., at Ralston Avenue and Anthony Wayne Boulevard, a car driven by James Cordes, 51, 16909 Henry County Road Q-1, Napoleon, struck a van driven by Daniel Vance, 35, 906 Hees Court. Cordes was cited for assured clear distance. Damage to both vehicles was light.
Sunday, 5:06 p.m., on Clinton Street, south of First Street, a car driven by Jonathan Hornish, 20, 114 Smith St., Hicksville, struck a sport utility vehicle driven by Jenna Foor, 24, 1570 Westgate Drive. Hornish was cited for improper starting and backing. Damage to both vehicles was light.
Saturday, Javier Facundo, 30, Defiance, was served a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court and charged with obstructing official business and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on Ayersville Avenue. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.
Sunday, Nicholas Gurica, 23, Ann Arbor, Mich., was charged with disorderly conduct after an alleged incident at the Knights of Columbus hall, 111 Elliott Road. Casey Derrow, 23, Defiance, was charged with disorderly conduct and Alexander Pedroza, 19, Defiance, was charged with underage consumption and resisting arrest.

Smith was transported by air ambulance to University of Toledo Medical Center. A condition report for Smith was unavailable this morning. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.
