Defiance Regional Medical Center Foundation recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to three area high-school and college students that plan on entering the health-care field. The winners of the scholarships are Jenna Thomas (left), Defiance High School; Michael Battershell, Hicksville High School; and Julie Koenn, University of St. Francis College of Nursing.
