HICKSVILLE -- Abigail Savage, daughter of Mark and Lisa Savage, Hicksville, won second place and a $1,835 scholarship in a statewide competition sponsored by Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives Inc.
The Hicksville High School senior was sponsored by North Western Electric Cooperative Inc., Bryan
Forty-five students representing 24 electric cooperatives in Ohio competed for $20,260 in scholarship awards. Winners were announced at a banquet following interviews with scholarship judges during the day.
