Quill and Scroll induction held

ARCHBOLD -- Four County Career Center students were inducted in the Quill and Scroll, an international honorary society for high school journalists, for the 2008-09 school year.

New members are Michelle Puehler, Tinora; Jayme Shiarla, Holgate; Chelsea Stacey, Patrick Henry; and Haley Vannier, Archbold.

To become a member of the society, a student must be scholastically in the upper third of their high school class, performed superior work in some phase of high school journalism, recommended by the advisor of journalistic work at their high school, and approved as being worthy of membership by the society's executive director.

Lisa Hite, academic/career/technical supervisor, welcomed students, parents and school administration to the recognition luncheon. Adviser to the Four County Career Center Quill and Scroll is Donna Robinson, mass media instructor.
