BOWLING GREEN -- Steve and Sandy Dobbins announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa, to Michael Snyder, son of Rob and Karin Snyder, all of Bowling Green. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Richard Brown, Newell, W. Va., formerly of Defiance, and the late Beverly Brown. Her fiance is the grandson of Hal and Marie Peters, Defiance.
The bride and her fiance are both students at Ohio State University, Columbus with graduation pending in March. Dobbins is studying health science with a concentration in health and wellness and Snyder is studying mechanical engineering.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 9, in St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
