A sluggish first half and grind-it-out style of game to open the second half had fourth-seeded Defiance College in a bind in Tuesday's HCAC Tournament quarterfinal against fifth-seeded Franklin College. The Grizzlies were hanging around, but a 37-18 burst in the final 12:48 of action turned the tide in Defiance's favor and the Jackets coasted down the stretch to an 85-66 triumph.
