Defiance overcame a four-point first quarter to dominate Kenton 56-37 in Western Buckeye League play on Friday night. The Bulldogs made more 3-balls in the second eight minutes of play than points scored in the first stanza to take a 24-10 halftime lead and Kenton never threatened as Defiance made it nine consecutive wins.
