For seven and a half minutes on Saturday afternoon, with shadows cast across the torn up grass of Salzman Stadium from the 88th meeting between bitter northwest Ohio rivals Defiance College and Bluffton University, I stood with and received a very powerful message from three young men that just saw their college football careers come to an end.
