OTTOVILLE -- Kalida scored four goals in the second half and rolled to a 4-1 win over Continental in Division III girls district soccer semifinal action Wednesday at Ottoville.
Nicole Kaufman netted two goals for Kalida (14-1-3), while Summer Holtkamp and McKenna Vorst each added goals to lead the Wildcats to the victory.
Sloane Zachrich scored the lone goal for Continental (12-4-2), which held a 1-0 lead at intermission. Continental goalkeeper Leva Weller racked up 10 saves on the game.
Kalida will now face Lima Central Catholic at Bath High School at 2 p.m. on Saturday at for the district championship.
At Swanton, Archbold advanced to the Lake District final via a 2-1 triumph over Swanton during girls Division III soccer semifinal action at Swanton.
Jesse Fidler scored a pair of goals in the second half on assists from Cassidy Wyse and Mindy Rupp, leading the Blue Streaks (16-1-1) to the come-from-behind win.
Archbold will now travel to Lake on Saturday at 4 p.m. to face Genoa for the district title.
