DC volleyball: Lady Jackets fall in three sets

BLUFFTON -- The Defiance College volleyball team fell to HCAC rival Bluffton Wednesday night, 25-19, 25-17, 25-17. The loss leaves the Yellow Jackets (14-13) as the six-seed in the HCAC Tournament.

Marlea Rolander, Jessica Tietje and Chelsea Ludeman, all posted six kills. Rolander added four blocks, while Tietje chipped in three digs. Alicia Kalik ended the match with 22 assists and Stephanie Wilson had nine digs.

Defiance returns to action on Saturday at HCAC foe Rose-Hulman at noon before taking on Illinois College immediately following the first match.
