State football poll: Edgerton, Leipsic move up

Published:

With just two weeks left in the high school football season, there was not much change for Defiance six-county area teams in the latest AP Ohio high school state football poll.

Edgerton and Leipsic are the only area teams to move up in the poll this week, with Edgerton moving from 15th to 14th in Division VI, while Leipsic cracked the top 10 in D-VI, moving from 11th to ninth.

Meanwhile, Liberty Center remains sixth in Division V, Kenton is still No. 1 in D-IV and Wapakoneta is ranked seventh again this week.
