The Defiance College women's tennis team defeated HCAC rival Bluffton on Wednesday 8-1 at the E. Stevens Dix Tennis Facility at Defiance College, to improve to 2-5 in the conference.
The Jackets swept all three doubles' matches. Kirsten Wieland and Catie Savage pulled out a close victory at number one doubles. Nicole Lovins and Katie Carunchia notched a comfortable win at number two doubles as did Danielle LaBarbera and Tasha Brown at three.
DC is back in action Friday when it travels to Anderson for a 4 p.m. start.
