Hicksville council approves first reading of 2013 appropriations

The first of three readings of 2013 appropriations was approved at the village council session Monday, Nov. 19, 2012. The 2013 appropriations come to $6,248,367.23, including a general fund of $1,668,976.51. This is a slight drop from last year.
