The future of the school district and new information about state funding opportunities were discussed at the Defiance City Board of Education meeting this morning.
Superintendent Dr. Richard Motuelle informed the board that he met last week with Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) representatives and learned that the state will only help fund one new elementary school, not two as was previously thought.
