HICKSVILLE Christmas is a time of joy and goodwill but for many, it can be a time of toil and unhappiness. And as always, the mission of the Christs Cupboard food pantry this time of the year is to give locals who have fallen on hard times as merry a Christmas as possible. As it has done for decades, Christs Cupboard is spending much of its energy preparing for the holiday season by gathering food, toys and money to assist struggling Hicksville residents at Christmastime.
