EDON State Senator Lynn Watchmann, R-Napoleon, and State Representative Steve Buehrer, R-Delta, held a press conference Monday morning to announce that there is strong support from the Ohio Turnpike Commission to forego the closing of the Ohio 49 turnpike exit. An official vote on the ordinance to keep the exit open is expected to occur at the commissions next meeting, which is scheduled for Monday in Berea.
