A settlement concerning a manufacturer which went out of business in Defiances industrial park was approved by city council Tuesday night. And, the agreement was moved along quickly because it figures to affect plans by a plastics industry to locate in the same park. An emergency ordinance approving the settlement was passed unanimously by council, and was one of three legislative items considered.
