NAPOLEON A former popular southside hangout will soon be taken down in preparation for the construction of the new Perry Street bridge over the Maumee River in Napoleon.
City council approved the demolition of Noels Place, the bar located at 319 S. Perry St., under suspension of the rules at Monday nights meeting.
City engineer Joe Kleiner said he plans to seek price quotes on the demolition, which could cost around $25,000.
