Napoleon council: Legislation involving emergency response equipment, personnel receives approval

NAPOLEON Napoleon City Council on Monday night continued to prepare for the closing of the Perry Street bridge by approving legislation involving emergency response equipment and personnel.
Council approved legislation under suspension of rules authorizing the purchase of two ambulances from Life Star Rescue.
Councilman James Hershberger said councils safety and human resources committee reviewed the ambulances, along with Napoleon Township trustees, and decided buying these ambulances was in the citys best interest.
