ANTWERP A tax proposal to fund local police protection 24 hours a day will face Antwerp voters in the March 2 primary election.
The village has a 2-mill, replacement operating levy for the police department on the ballot.
According to the Paulding County auditors office, the owner of a home valued at $100,000 would pay approximately $70 a year if the levy passes. Residents may, however, not notice.
