Defiance has been famous for a variety of reasons over the years, from being the site of Fort Defiance and Fort Winchester to the home of two-time Indy League Racing champion Sam Hornish Jr. and Bud Widmers Rube Band. The county seat is now known for another band this one calling itself Defiance, Ohio. So youve never heard of this band of musicians? Not surprising, as the punk rockers were originally based in Columbus. Musicians include Geoff Hing, acoustic guitar and vocals; Will Staler, drums, harmonica and vocals; Ryan Woods, upright bass and vocals; Elizabeth Gibbs, violin and vocals; and Sherri Miller on cello. Members of the band range in age from 22 to 30 years.
