BRUNERSBURG Although there is considerable support for building an interchange on U.S. 24 at Defiances West High Street when the federal route is widened, some affected residents opposed the idea during a public hearing here Monday night. Approximately 100 persons attended the meeting hosted by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) at the countys emergency operations center. The meetings purpose: Receive public input on one of four proposed options under consideration by ODOT for the U.S. 24/West High Street intersection.
