Fund-raising efforts by Defiance Area YMCA officials have been extremely successful since the $1.7 million capital campaign got underway in June. To date, officials have raised $1.2 toward its goal. Wednesday kicked off the public phase of YMCAs drive Youth Todays Best Investment Cam-paign, with a celebration dinner at Defiance Eagles Aerie 372. The program also honored the dozens of workers who have contributed to the campaign.
