Grinches beware. Northtowne Mall is ready for Christmas. Defiances northside shopping center is hosting its annual Christmas Open House on Saturday and Sunday. At the official opening of the Christmas shopping season, shoppers will be greeted by festive decorations and displays, spirited Christmas music and other entertainment, good food and a wide array of merchandise that should quickly eliminate many names from those long Christmas lists. Santa will also be on hand Saturday, beginning at noon.
