Tax issue could sink or float the Continental pool
By DARLENE PRINCE
CONTINENTAL Voters in the Continental Local School District will be facing a tax issue that could sink or keep afloat the Curtiss Memorial swimming pool, which is owned by the district and located on the school grounds.
Tuesdays general election ballot will include an additional 2.38 mill-levy for construction of a new pool and bathhouse and a 1.85-mill levy to maintain and operate pool facilities. The two tax issues are combined into one ballot question.
