Five candidates will square off on Nov. 4 for three open seats on the Defiance City Schools Board of Education. All three incumbents S.G. Brugler, Christine Oberlin and Peggy Rolf are seeking re-election. Brugler, the board president, and Rolf are finishing their first four-year terms while Oberlin is seeking a third term.
