A former Defiance woman has been selected to sing the national anthem for Sundays professional football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo. Michelle (Pelland) Whitman, a 1989 Defiance High School graduate who now resides in Bryan, was asked to sing after participating in a live audition in Buffalo this summer.
