The annual Hospice Auxiliary Fall Fair was held Thursday at Defiances UAW Local 211 hall to raise funds for Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance. Numerous items were auctioned off including Charlies Pie, named after the late Charlie Chatham, a great supporter of the organization. Here, his brother, Dwight, rallies support for the auction of the pie, with assistance from Traci Bowers, hospice coordinator. The pie brought in $22,291.69, while the overall hospice auxiliary fund-raiser exceeded $35,000.
